In-Lakech blends his Latin American roots with a deep love for electronic music. Inspired by his father’s record collection and his brother’s DJ skills, he began performing in Stockholm’s nightclubs at just 16.
His debut track Similar was released on Eelke Kleijn’s DAYS like NIGHTS under Armada Music, earning support from across the scene. Today, he continues to craft emotive, genre-blending sounds that connect with listeners worldwide.
Philosophy and Inspiration
The name In Lakech comes from the Mayan phrase In La k’ech Ala k’in —
“I am you, you are me. If I hurt you, I hurt myself.”
It’s a philosophy of unity, love, and shared energy that flows through his music and creative vision.
